How the life of John was changed by Joy Sight
Situation 1 -Banking
Without:
A man John walks to the bank with full of fear not knowing what is around him and who is around him,to transfer money to his son's account. He faces a lot of difficulties while walking to the bank. A man fools him telling that he was part of the bank staff and collects money from him and runs away.
With:
John stays at home without any fear, he just touches the touch-pad of the glasses and chooses e-banking,then he chooses his son's account and the money is transferred after a three step verification without any issues like being cheated.
Situation 2 -Navigation
Without:
John wants to go to the kitchen but ends up in his bedroom completely confused. He doesn't even recognize objects there until his wife helps him out.
With:
John just unlocks the AI JOY by his voice and asks it to give him directions to his kitchen. The Voice assistant perfectly gives directions and even informs him what is in front of him and thus enabling him to easily do his work there.
Situation 3 -Reading
Without:
John is very much interested in reading books but he always has to wait for his wife to read them for him and sometimes even sure that she is very tired and doesn't want to read it. He even wants to read a nice book recommended by his friend but the book is in Korean which cannot be read by his wife as well.
With:
He just keeps the book in front of him and it reads it out in a way where only he can hear and doesn't even disturb others. He can even understand the Korean book using inbuilt translation.
Situation 4 -Recognition and Emergency
Without:
John is sitting on his couch. He trusts his wife a lot. She asks him where he had kept the keys to the locker in which all the valuables are kept. He tells it. Little did he know that it was another person who stole all his gold and cash and ran away and it was too late to do anything.
With:
John would get a warning because the glasses doesn't recognize the person's face and could have alerted him and would ask him for raising an alarm and by just one touch the police would receive the recording and the location by which the person could be caught red handed.
Situation 5 -Entertainment
Without:
John wants to listen to music but he had to search for his iPod and earphones or speaker and he even has to download certain songs. His wife doesn't like listening and thus gets irritated as well.
With:
With just the name of the song Jon can listen to the music without disturbing anyone.[Audiobooks are also available for free.]
Situation 6 -Shopping
Without:
John needs to go to a shop and buy all the things after feeling each item or with the help of another person.
With:
He just had to tell the AI , JOY, what he needs and the Voice assistant automatically orders on
e-commerce websites at the last price and even pays using e-banking.
Situation 7-Personal Help
Without:
He will always need personal help without which he cannot recognise objects and cannot do most of the work.
With:
John will just have to say 'hey Joy' and the command he wishes to execute and it is done within a jiffy.
Situation 8 -News
Without:
He cannot read a newspaper and would need a television for listening to the news, which would beawaste for a blind.
With;
He just has to say 'Hey Joy, what's today's news?' and it reads all the headlines and if he wants to know more it reads the fine details as well.
Now John, even though was born blind, was given sight by JOYSIGHT
